Louise Heit-Radwell, Teaching Artist
Louise is a choreographer/dancer and teaching artist who has enjoyed working for TID since 2007. She believes in TID’s philosophy of honoring children’s creative process. Through the 92nd St Y, she also facilitates professional development workshops encouraging classroom teachers to incorporate dance/movement in to their classrooms. She has worked as a teaching artist for Lincoln Center Education, 92nd St Y, Ballet Hispanico, DanceWave, Marquis Studios among others. Louise has also performed and choreographed in many dance, dance theater and performance art pieces throughout New York City and worldwide. She holds a MA from the Trinity Laban Conservatorie of Music and Dance in London, a CMA (Certified Movement Analysis) from Laban Bartenieff Institute of Movement Studies in NYC, a BFA in dance and theater from New York University and a certificate from the Dance Education Laboratory at the 92nd Street Y.
